What Now?

So I went to college but I could not afford to finish. I came home (philly) and I started a free program that offered prep classes to take the TEAS test. You see, I would like to become an RN, but I want to get my LPN so I can work while I go to school. So anyway, I passed the program but I heard the TEAS test was REALLY hard. So I am kinda scared to take it. Plus it's 50.00 so I do not want to waste my money. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do or should I stop being a punk and take the test??? I hate failing tests which is why I am really nervous about it. HELP!!

Unions

Ok. so we have all heard of unions. But what about nurses and unions? Why are we so against helping ourselves? Are we trying to be martyrs? Come on. If we could bring in an organization that would help us to make our working situation better for both us and our patients why not. What is the big hold up on our part. Is it because we are not educated? Or do the scare tactics that instituions use on us really work to keep us down?
